Paper 4 is focused on business strategy and makes up 40% of your A2 grade. We must answer two essay questions based on a 500-word case study.
One question will be "backwards" facing and one "forwards" facing.
For the "backwards" facing question we must analyse and evaluate the past performance of the business - for example:
1 Evaluate GHG’s marketing strategy between 1995 and 2021. [20]
The forwards facing question will ask us to advise or recommend on strategies going forward, for example:
2.Advise Antonio on whether the use of a core competence framework is sufficient to develop a successful new business strategy for GHG. [20]
